From HH70 to Jingtian Magnet, we continuously set new records in HTS tokamak technology
HH70 is the world's first all-HTS tokamak device. Using advanced HTS magnet technology, it successfully achieved first plasma in June 2024. This achievement was selected for the IAEA's "World Fusion Outlook 2024" report, marking a major breakthrough for Energy Singularity in the field of fusion energy.
The Jingtian Magnet is a large-bore HTS toroidal field magnet independently developed by Energy Singularity, successfully energized to 22 Tesla, setting a world record for this type of magnet. It was selected for the IAEA's "World Fusion Outlook 2025" report, representing China's world-leading position in HTS magnet technology.
HH170 is the next-generation high-field compact HTS tokamak device being planned by Energy Singularity. Compared with HH70, it will significantly improve magnetic field with the goal of achieving equivalent Q>2, laying a solid foundation for commercial fusion power generation.
