On the morning of April 15 2024, Wang Zhigang, a standing committee member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Vice Chairman of the Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports Committee, former Minister of Science and Technology, and former Party Group Secretary, visited Energy Singularity. He toured the HH70 tokamak device and the high-temperature superconducting magnet workshop. Yang Zhao, the founder and CEO of Energy Singularity, received Wang Zhigang and his delegation.
In the main hall of the HH70, Yang Zhao introduced to Wang Zhigang the research and development and construction process of the world's first full high-temperature superconducting tokamak device, the HH70, as well as the company's subsequent device development plans. In the high-temperature superconducting magnet workshop, Wang Zhigang mainly learned about the development progress of the 25-Tesla high-field TF magnet, named "Jing Tian."
