On September 26, 2023, Yuan Guohua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Lingang New Area, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Lingang Group, visited Energy Singularity for research and toured the company's high-temperature superconducting magnet laboratory and the HH70 main hall. Yang Zhao, the founder and CEO of Energy Singularity, received Chairman Yuan Guohua and his delegation.
Yang Zhao introduced the entrepreneurial journey and development plan of Energy Singularity to the visiting guests and reported on the research progress of the HH70 high-temperature superconducting tokamak and the Jingtian high-field magnet projects. Subsequently, both parties exchanged views on the goals, significance, and landing plans for the next-generation advanced tokamak device, Honghuang 170, which Energy Singularity is planning.
Chairman Yuan Guohua stated that Lingang welcomes outstanding talents to innovate and start businesses, and looks forward to Energy Singularity achieving breakthroughs in key technology research and development. He hopes to promote deeper cooperation between Lingang Group and Energy Singularity.
