On July 17, the Shanghai Stock Exchange hosted the "STAR Market Future Industry Salon - Controlled Nuclear Fusion Special Session," with over 20 upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain attending the exchange, covering core components, system devices, engineering applications and other fields. At the same time, nearly 30 financial institutions including venture capital institutions, public funds, securities companies, and banks attended the meeting. Energy Singularity was invited to participate, and the company's founder Yang Zhao delivered a keynote speech, introducing to the guests the R&D progress and future plans of Energy Singularity in high-temperature superconducting tokamaks.
The theme of this salon was "Controlled Nuclear Fusion: The 'Core' of Future Ultimate Energy." Participants from all parties deeply discussed the development prospects of China's high-temperature superconducting tapes, fusion experimental reactors, device components and materials industries, the timetable for technological breakthroughs, national strategic directions, and key points of capital market support.
Since November 2024, the Shanghai Stock Exchange has cumulatively held five Future Industry Salons, focusing on artificial intelligence, low-altitude economy, humanoid robots, commercial aerospace, and controlled nuclear fusion, aiming to support in-depth exchanges and consensus building among industry, academia, research, and investment parties, promote the integration of capital and technology, and provide more powerful financial support for the development of future industries.
