On March 1, 2024, the general assembly of the HH70 tokamak was completed, marking the end of all construction work for the device.

HH70 is the world's first full high-temperature superconducting tokamak device and also the world's first full superconducting tokamak device developed and built by a commercial company. The design work for HH70 began in March 2022, and since September 2022, various components have been processed in stages. The overall assembly started in August 2023, and now it has been completed.
Energy Singularity completed the design, research and development, and construction of the HH70 within two years, setting the fastest record in the world for the development and construction of a superconducting tokamak device. The HH70 will begin magnet cooling and commissioning operations to achieve plasma discharge as soon as possible.
