Shanghai Future Industry Advanced Nuclear Energy Expert Committee Established, Energy Singularity Elected as Deputy Director Unit

On the afternoon of March 16, 2023, the establishment ceremony of the Shanghai Future Industry Advanced Nuclear Energy Expert Committee was successfully held at Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. This is the first expert committee among the 16 sub-fields of the city's future industry. Experts recommended by 21 units in the field of future industry advanced nuclear energy were invited to attend, and Energy Singularity was elected as the deputy director unit of the expert committee.

The Future Industry Advanced Nuclear Energy Expert Committee was established based on the Shanghai Industrial Technology Innovation Promotion Association and is a specific action measure to implement the "Shanghai Action Plan for Building a Future Industry Innovation High Ground and Developing Future Industry Clusters." The establishment of the expert committee helps to gather industry expert resources, build a professional think tank platform, grasp the cutting-edge direction of advanced nuclear energy, accelerate core technology research and development, strengthen industry-university-research collaboration and innovation, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and help the high-quality development of the city's future industry advanced nuclear energy field.

The meeting voted to approve the "Shanghai Future Industry Advanced Nuclear Energy Expert Committee Management Measures," and elected the first director and deputy directors of the expert committee. The attending experts offered suggestions and exchanged ideas on how to better promote the high-quality development of Shanghai's future industry advanced nuclear energy. Relevant comrades from the Municipal Economic and Information Commission's Technology Progress Division and Major Equipment Division, as well as the Shanghai Industrial Technology Innovation Promotion Association, attended the meeting.
