On January 27, 2023, Wu Jincheng, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Economic and Information Commission, and his delegation visited Energy Singularity and toured the company's high-temperature superconducting magnet laboratory. They were accompanied by Lu Haibin, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Nuclear Power Office, and other leaders. Yang Zhao introduced the entrepreneurial journey of Energy Singularity to Director Wu Jincheng and reported on the construction progress of the HH70 high-temperature superconducting tokamak device and the development plan for the Jingtian high-field fusion magnet project. Director Wu Jincheng noted that clean energy has significant strategic importance to the country, and the company, as an important innovative entity with efficiency advantages, is supported in its exploration of cutting-edge technology research and development and industrialization.
Subsequently, the Energy Singularity management team participated in a symposium held at Shanghai Electric Nuclear Power Group. At the symposium, Energy Singularity and the Nuclear Power Group respectively gave brief reports on their basic situations, operational achievements, and future development plans, with a focus on introducing their development and participation in the field of advanced nuclear energy systems.
