Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission Deputy Director Wang Ye Visits Energy Singularity

On May 8 2023, Wang Ye, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission (SSTC), led a delegation to conduct visit at Energy Singularity. The delegation included Fang Hao, Director of the High and New Technology Department of the SSTC, Li Yanxu, Deputy Director of the High and New Technology Department, and other responsible officials. The company’s co-founder and COO, Ye Yuming, received Deputy Director Wang Ye and his delegation.

Ye Yuming introduced the research objectives and progress of the company’s Honghuang 70 tokamak device and the Jingtian magnet, and on behalf of Energy Singularity, expressed gratitude for the long-term support, guidance, and assistance from the SSTC. Deputy Director Wang Ye encouraged the company to continue investing in the development of key technologies, striving to keep pace with and surpass the international leading level in the technology route of high-field, high-temperature superconducting tokamaks.
